She has practiced continuously since graduating in a variety of pediatric settings specializing in sensory integration. Belinda completed her Master in Occupational Therapy at Touro University of Nevada in 2010. She has practiced continuously since graduating in a variety of pediatric settings specializing in sensory integration. Belinda enjoys working with a wide range of ages, from early intervention to adolescents. She has taken a broad range of courses in sensory integrative principles and became certified in Ayres Sensory Integration (SIPT). Belinda has also taken courses in feeding, interactive metronome, handwriting, cognitive perceptual organization, and neurodevelopmental treatment approaches, among others. Belinda believes strongly in taking therapy beyond the one-to-one setting and working closely with the child's entire team to ensure maximal carryover of therapeutic strategies into the child's life.

Lalisa is especially interested in the role of sensory integration in children and hopes to become certified in Ayres Sensory Integration in the near future. Lalisa believes that the holistic and client-centered role of occupational therapy plays a major role in development in children. She completed the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at PIMA Medical Institute where she became the community service chairperson at the SOTA club and graduated with honors. While at school, she discovered she was passionate about working with the pediatric population and assisting families in supporting the growth and development of their children. Before joining PIMA Medical Institute, she worked supporting adults with ASD in social environments and their role in community settings. As a COTA Magdalena is focused on a sensory based approach and is interested in furthering her education by learning and implementing sensory based feeding strategies. During her free time, she enjoys watching and supporting the Uruguayan national soccer team in addition to spending time with family and going out with friends to try new restaurants.
